This year’s theme, Science and Technology for Society, featured sub-themes: Life/Lifestyle for Environment, Agriculture, Communication & Transport, and Computational Thinking.

The Contingent Leader Meet of OTR was held with participation from around 41 colleges. Invitations and posters were sent to as many as 100 colleges. The PR system of scoring points for participating colleges was discussed, and a Contingent Name auction was conducted based on popular TV shows aired on Doordarshan. E-brochures containing necessary information about the workshops, competitions, and rules and regulations were emailed to the respective CLs and ACLs.

The Cultural Department of our college celebrated TAHUKO, a lively Garba event, with students donning colorful traditional outfits in the spirit of Navratri. Trophies were awarded for the best Garba costume and dancer (boy and girl). The event saw enthusiastic participation from students. Additionally, the Training & Placement Committee, in collaboration with the Placement Team, organised a workshop on Resume Building and Interview Cracking Skills for SY and TY students. Led by corporate trainer Mrs. Nazneen Bharde, the session focused on improving employability skills and preparing students to present themselves professionally through interactive activities and role plays.

A bootcamp on C and C++ programming was organised for FYJC and SYJC Computer Science students at Vidya Vikas Universal College. The bootcamp provided students with intensive hands-on experience in foundational programming languages. The objective was to enhance students' coding skills, help them understand fundamental concepts, introduce them to the basics of programming, and develop a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

The Inter-class competition featured Chess and Carrom events, with 77 contestants participating. The matches were held from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, using 6 chess boards and 6 carrom boards. In Chess, each player had 10 minutes, while Carrom followed a knockout format with semi-finals and finals based on points (17 and 27). All matches were knockout rounds, and the winners progressed to the semi-finals and finals. After intense competition, 16 students emerged as the overall winners.
