We proudly hosted a grand celebration of Republic Day with this year’s theme, “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas,” filled with patriotic fervor, cultural performances, and inspiring speeches.

The event was marked by the hoisting of the national flag, a tribute to our great leaders, and various engaging activities that highlighted the spirit of unity and nationalism. It was a memorable occasion that brought together our students, teachers, and staff to honour the rich heritage and values of our nation.

The Contingent Leader Meet of OTR was held with participation from around 41 colleges. Invitations and posters were sent to as many as 100 colleges. The PR system of scoring points for participating colleges was discussed, and a Contingent Name auction was conducted based on popular TV shows aired on Doordarshan. E-brochures containing necessary information about the workshops, competitions, and rules and regulations were emailed to the respective CLs and ACLs.

Trophies were awarded for the best Garba costume and dancer (boy and girl). The event saw enthusiastic participation from students. Additionally, the Training & Placement Committee, in collaboration with the Placement Team, organised a workshop on Resume Building and Interview Cracking Skills for SY and TY students. Led by corporate trainer Mrs. Nazneen Bharde, the session focused on improving employability skills and preparing students to present themselves professionally through interactive activities and role plays.

Trophies were awarded for the best Garba costume and dancer (boy and girl). The event saw enthusiastic participation from students. The Inter-class competition featured Chess and Carrom events, with 77 contestants participating. The matches were held from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, using 6 chess boards and 6 carrom boards. In Chess, each player had 10 minutes, while Carrom followed a knockout format with semi-finals and finals based on points (17 and 27). All matches were knockout rounds, and the winners progressed to the semi-finals and finals. After intense competition, 16 students emerged as the overall winners.
