In accordance with the curriculum of Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) and Bachelor of Mass Media (B.M.M.) prescribed by the University of Mumbai, the respective departments organized Industrial Visits for students to facilitate learning beyond classroom walls.
On 6Th October 2018 the Department of Management Studies organized a one-day industrial visit to Silvassa, Gujarat, for students’ learning from the following companies:
1) M/s. ALOK INDUSTRIES LTD (Textile Sector)
2) M/s. NAVNEET EDUCATION LTD (Education & Printing Sector)
The department of Mass Media organized a one-day rural research tour for B.M.M. students on 14th March 2019 to a hilly terrain named Kothaligad near Karjat, Maharashtra. Students learnt the application and devising of creative intellectual tools needed for people mobilization and field research. Additionally, students were able to acquire hands-on practice in planning and executing ad-film making, short filmmaking and documentary filmmaking.
